I might as well chuck a book review for The Devil Wears Prada as well. If you like fashion you may just be interested in it. If not, the only way you'll find it interesting is if you get yourself a frontal lobotomy first. I have a wood burning stove which keeps me warm during the cold British nights. Let me tell you that The Devil Wears Prada burnt really well. So did the The Undomesticated Goddess.

There is some silly lit out there. Devil Wears did make a fun movie.
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't hate Dean Koontz. I like him because he is really funny and writes the most narcissistic villains and the most odd and likable heroes. It is all conspiracy and over the top plots but he has some quotable bits in there.
O.
I think I've read one Dean koontz but it was a long time ago... I will have to refresh my memory. I haven't seen the film version of The Devil yet but I do remember when reading the book that it might work better on film... I felt the comic opportunities didn't weren't really made the most of... and Meryl Streep is a great actress so I'm sure she delivers the goods.
ReplyDeleteI have been a naughty girl Oneida.. I've bought a Dean koontz and an Ian McEwan, but I've left them in the boot of the car rather than the back of the wardrobe! I can hear that voice ringing in my ears "What more books?" He, he, he...I only hope that when I go to retrieve them that I'll be able to find them amongst all that debris..
