Family Law in particular in the UK needs revising. I certainly hope to get compensation from my previous lawyer but it is complicated as the practice has since been shut down by the controlling legal body for malpractice. This is not related to my case but I think probably the practice knew what was coming and people were less diligent. My case is under invesitigation at the moment but even with a positive outcome for me I may get nothing as they've been shut. Hardly seems fair but that seems the way things have gone for a long time. I just have to lve with the consequences. Welcome back to the now rarefied world of blogging (rare as in a reduced amount of people still blogging) and I hope you'll be up and running like your wonderfully abnormal self in no time.

Unfortunately, your divorce saga reminds me of what my brother and his wife went through in trying to adopt (successfully I might add) their now 5 year old daughter, simply because he is white, wife is Hispanic and daughter is Black. Glad you were finally able to get free and hopefully exact your pound of flesh from your previous legal team.G. B. I have been extraordinarily lucky too to have had the support of some truly wonderful friends and colleagues without whom the roads would have been so much harder. I can't thank them enough for saving my sanity.
Jane Turleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01441332018679664175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4735085699153339257.post-28603865191813095782021-10-12T23:35:08.324+01:002021-10-12T23:35:08.324+01:00I'm glad for you that your divorce is finalize...I'm glad for you that your divorce is finalized. I worked for a woman principal in a middle school. She was one of the first female principals and was from a very prominent family. One thing that happened as a consequence were mothers would come in to the school in a state of panic. Their husband had usually left them with no money, bills, no food in the house and they were desperate. You have to wonder where the man's conscience was. He clearly was not using it. The principal was an admirable woman in that I am sure she helped each of these women. Ann Bennetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17759967601352382204noreply@blogger.com
